Shepherds Delight

James Brown seems a little misinformed with regard to The Boogaloo's previous incumbents (Do the Boogaloo, TO1816). The Shepherds was a wonderful and vibrant pub that bustled most nights, particularly Thursdays, when people would travel from all over London - often the world - to attend the legendary pub quiz. The notion only Coldplay were upset by the change-over is untrue.

The much-deserved retirement of owners John and Bernie Sewell was bittersweet for hundreds of locals and regulars. Times change, though, and The Boogaloo has fast become an excellent, must-visit north London venue. Excellence, however, is no stranger to the site. If it were, we wouldn't have renamed it The Winchester and surround it with zombies for 'Shaun of the Dead'.
