NME Awards: Simon and Nick, pint glasses at the ready
Radio 1 is very well represented at the NME awards. Colin & Edith, Chris Moyles, Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe are all nominated for Best Radio Show.
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are presenting the awards. We had a chat with them as they were getting ready and asked them if their nerves were starting to get to them:
"I'm, I'm really nervous."
"We'll either do a brilliant job, or we'll choke and be laughed at for the next three or four years."
"Nick, I completely agree, I'm terrified. But I think it will be quite fun, we've been through it a few times and here's hoping that it will go smoothly."
"I have an array of pint glasses that I will throw into the crowd, randomly, if we're heckled."
