Peter Serafinowicz.

I finished watching Hippies a few days ago and I thought it was really funny. I would highly recomend it even outside of the Simon Pegg DVD collection....I thought the supporting cast were great but you could tell Simon was the lead and he carried it well.

Oh my! I watched a few clips of Hippies on You Tube. I have a You Tube account and added the clips to my Favorites queue. I laughed so hard my sides hurt. Simon is so funny as Ray. The "Seduction" (a la The Graduate) clip and the one where he falls down the steps are the funniest. I like his hair! I plan to order the entire series from Amazon UK.

I've been watching Hippies and had the thought: y'know, if Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon had been invented in the UK, it would only have been Two or Three Degrees. At some point, everyone has co-starred with everybody else!

Of course I recognize Simon & Peter Serafinowicz, but the other three main characters all looked really familiar, too, and then I realized: right! They're all in Green Wing.

Not that this is in any way a complaint, mind you. I've had a lot of success finding things I like by just looking for other shows featuring the same actors (or producers). Which is a good thing. I think I'm just not used to recognizing so many of the actors on shows I watch.

Sally Phillips also co-starred with Simon and Jess in "Six Pairs of Pants" and played Shazza in the Bridget Jones films, in addition to loads of other comedy stuff. JRT, well what hasn't he been in? Hardest working ginger in the UK. He's their equivalent of Eric Stoltz.

JRT is one of the princes in Stardust, along with Buxton, Heap, and Walliams -- which makes me think I may be missing a trick not knowing Everett, Flemyng, & Strong...

I really need to figure out where I can watch Smack The Pony; all indications are that I'd like it.

If you like Green Wing, I'd say you'll like it. Here's a taster.

I just got the series on DVD yesterday! I am in Canada and I heard that it is unavailable here. I got it off someone on Craig's List that said that it was a region 2 DVD which does not work here but I needed it anyway just to add to my collection of Pegg but you are able to convert them anyways so I was going to do that, anyways when I picked it up he said that the region was actually 0 so it might work on my DVD player! So i took it home and it did!!! I am soo happy I have only watched the first Episode but I cannot wait for the rest I kind of want to space them out though since there are only 6 episodes.

Is it just me, or does Simon look pleasently stoned in this pic?
